Prismatape UK Ltd was created initially, in 1991, to provide a UK back-up service for the Countrys major importers of Plasturopa products. In particular, the standard PVC and Polypropylene self adhesive packaging tapes.

A reputation for top quality products at realistic prices, supported by a first class delivery service, ensured that our network of customers expanded rapidly many introduced by personal recommendation.

The range of products supplied by Prismatape has now, through continuing demand, expanded greatly. We are now able to supply, ex stock, a wide variety of the most popular carton and bag neck sealing tapes, together with more specialized lines such as strapping and masking tapes, and plasticized tapes for the Automotive Industry. Our extremely successful customized printed tape department is now a very important part of our Company and we also stock a full range of standard texts.

C720 Tin Sealing Tape

C. 135 and C. 720 adhesive tapes are particularly indicated for the sealing of metal and plastic tins by means of automatic wrapping machines

These are extremely strong thick tapes which when stretched onto the container, form a good seal that is less likely to break on application or removal. Then lie flatter on the container and are ultra clear (a few days after application, the tape shrinks back slightly and becomes glass clear). Adhesive residue problems have also been overcome by a special coating technique and the use of a solvent-free adhesive, which has approval for use in non-contact food applications.

Premium Plus

Premium Plus is offered as an alternative to PVC, Premium Plus has as smooth film and a No Noise solvent adhesive.

Premium Plus has the same adhesive properties and can be used for the same applications as PVC. E.g. Frozen, Chilled and Dusty environments.

Premium Plus is available in 48mm x 66m, 75mm x 66m and 48mm x 132m in Buff, Clear and White.

PTP 1003 Low tack 50 microm polythene surface protection film coated with a emulsion acrylic adhesive for use on glass, anodised aluminium, medium gloss paint finishes and mirror finish steels. Good resistance to moisture, sunlight and variable climate conditions. Available in blue & clear in log and re-slit sizes on request
